Master Dan Lockhart is our chief instructor and former Director of the Martial Arts and Self Defense at UCI. He has been teaching Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan in Aliso Viejo for over 27 years and has been training for more than 39. He holds a rank of 5th Dan and is a certified Sa Bom/Master Instructor in the art of Soo Bahk Do. Master Lockhart has a Degree in Psychology from UCI and has extensive experience providing top quality instructional programs to practitioners of all ages. He has taught martial arts and self defense classes throughout our community; for our local school districts and private schools, the City of Aliso Viejo, and local police departments.
Brittany Lockhart

Master Brittany Lockhart is a 4th Dan in Soo Bahk Do and holds the title of Sa Bom/Certified Master Instructor. She has trained in the art since 1996 and has been teaching since 2007. Miss Lockhart’s an amazing teacher who makes training fun for all levels. She competes successfully: claiming both Regional & National Champion in Forms / Sparring in 2009, 2010, 2012-2019, and was a member of the Regional Sparring Team 2009-2019 that won the National Championships in 2010/2011/2017. Miss Lockhart is currently one of two appointed Regional Examiners for Region 9 (California, Hawaii, Nevada) and one of two appointed Youth Leader Representatives for the United States. She regularly attends national and international training and events.
